Hi Manoj, I wanted to write to you anyway to thank you very much for your drumming at my wedding. It was very important to me and my family to make a Punjabi entrance (my wife is West Bengali) and it made us very proud. I also appreciate your great idea of leading in the car at the start, and your general calmness and experience – Kishor Sharma – Hilton Croydon 2010
Thank you for helping get our wedding day off to a great start. Your drummers made sure things kicked off with a bang and many of our guests have commented on how good the baraat entrance was. They were there on time and performed excellently. I highly recommend the Dhol Squad. – Kiran Kalia – Battersea – 2010
Hi Manoj,
Just a quick message to say a HUGE (extremely belated) thank you to you guys for coming down to the "SugarFix" Diabetes charity fundraiser night. It was a pleasure to work with you guys. The whole process was very smooth. You were punctual, efficient and very professional, all of which made our job on the night MUCH easier! Your performance was the highlight of the night and the crowd loved it! We were flooded with endless compliments for you. You guys rocked the place! Thank you again :) Gurpreet – SugaFix – 2010
From the initial sound to the very last beat, the whole audience was fixed to the performance. When the group entered and began playing everyone rushed in from outside. All the parents and kids were mesmerized by the performance; they were clapping and dancing to the music. The atmosphere of the event changed, and came more electric, kids danced around and parents also joined in. The group played several sessions on the evening, and each one was excellent, they seem to get better all the time. I would like to thank all the members for coming to our event, and making an event to remember. Parents are still talking about the event and how they enjoyed all the activities, especially the dhol group' - Brian Harry - PPA Chairperson.
Dear Manoj, On behalf of the Royal Brompton & Harefield Charitable Fund, I would like to thank you and the members of the Dhol Squad for your playing at the recent Harefield Hospital Fun Run. Your presence was appreciated by all who as you know really enjoyed your music hence you being asked to play for a further five minutes. The response I have had from the participants and spectators has been amazing, they have complimented your band and I have had several requests for you to play at the event again next year. If you are able to join us, perhaps you could play two slots, once in the morning and another in the afternoon. – Harefield Fun Run – 2010
"Stopping the traffic in Wandsworth is no mean feat, but these dhol players did it in style. We were running late but didnt get hassled and not two but three players turned up! They kept up with my families antics and led the way perfectly" – Anish Patel – Wandsworth – 2010
A huge thanks to Dhol Squad for attending this years Party in the Park, your drumming was a real show stopper and a major highlight of the day. – Cathy Ranson – Sunshine magazine – Uxbridge – 2010
Hi Manoj, I wanted to drop you a note just to say a big thank you for the absolutely brilliant drumming at our wedding. You guys were so fantastic I am now wondering what other occasion could warrant more dohl drumming! Entering the room to your accompaniment is my favourite wedding memory. - Lucy and Atif shiekh - in and out club London 2011.
