Our drummers are trained to an exceptional standard, provide a high class and professional service and are available for hire for your events throughout the UK as well as overseas. We are available to perform at weddings, mehndi nights, sangeet nights, parades, dinner and dances, charity events, fashion shows, club events or at any other type of event you may be holding.

The Dhol Squad also run Weekly classes where our objective is to teach the dhol at an extremely high standard. Our classes are taught with written scripted lessons and we help our students to understand beats and rhythms thorough the concepts of timing. Our dhol lessons are structured to cover an extensive syllabus from beginner to advance levels.

homepageWe are proud to say that our students have been featured on BBC Children in need, Zee TV, Womad, Cambridge Folk festival and many other events. Our students have also been recognized for their talents and have been awarded Princess of Wales awards.

At the Dhol Squad we have no prejudice against age or race and we promote a friendly atmosphere where each member is treated with respect. We believe highly in team spirit in both our classes and performances and this is reflected in the quality of our drummers. Our teachers have been CRB checked and classes are run to strict rules and guidelines to assure all students are given 100% attention to achieve their goals. The Dhol Squad drummers are proud to be part of the organization and they ensure that each performance reflects our Dhol Squad slogan "LOUD AND PROUD"

"Stopping the traffic in Wandsworth is no mean feat, but these dhol players did it in style. We were running late but didnt get hassled and not two but three players turned up at short notice! They kept up with my families antics and led the way perfectly"

- Anish Patel - Wandsworth Town Hall - Wedding Escort.

"Hi Manoj, I wanted to write to you anyway to thank you very much for your drumming at my wedding. It was very important to me and my family to make a Punjabi entrance (my wife is West Bengali) and it made us very proud. I also appreciate your great idea of leading in the car at the start, and your general calmness and experience"

– Kishor Sharma – Hilton Croydon 2010

"From the initial sound to the very last beat, the whole audience was fixed to the performance. When the group entered and began playing everyone rushed in from outside. All the parents and kids were mesmerized by the performance; they were clapping and dancing to the music. The atmosphere of the event changed, and came more electric, kids danced around and parents also joined in. The group played several sessions on the evening, and each one was excellent, they seem to get better all the time. I would like to thank all the members for coming to our event, and making an event to remember. Parents are still talking about the event and how they enjoyed all the activities, especially the dhol group"

- Brian Harry - PPA Chairperson
